HOLLYWOOD - About 150,000 fans gathered at South Florida's South Beach Sunday night as pop sensation 'N Sync played a 35-minute set, featuring the singles "Pop," "Bye Bye Bye," and "Tearing Up My Heart." Although the show was free for most fans, proceeds from the sale of VIP tickets went to benefit families of the Sept. 11 victims and local workers who recently lost their jobs, The Associated Press reported.

HOLLYWOOD - Kid Rock is tired of the rumors about his relationship with Pamela Anderson, who he's been dating since they met at the VH1 Divas 2001 tribute to Aretha Franklin in New York City this past spring. The latest rumors going around allege that the couple is engaged and that Anderson is pregnant with Kid Rock's kid. According to Launch.com, reps at Lava/Atlantic Records, Kid Rock's label, have denied those rumors.

Rolling Stone's frontman Mick Jagger is set to release "God Gave Me Everything," a song he co-wrote and produced with funky rocker Lenny Kravitz. The song is the first single from Jagger's fourth solo album Goddess in the Doorway, scheduled for a Nov. 20 release. Jagger is currently filming the video for the single with director Mark Romanek, who's worked with the likes of Madonna and Michael Jackson).

HOLLYWOOD - Seems like every week, "one hit wonder" groups are breaking up. Last week, it was the Australian band Savage Garden and this week, the British pop group Elastica have gone their separate ways after being together for nearly a decade. Front woman Justine Frischmann issued an official statement on Oct. 3, saying: "Believe it or not Elastica have been together for almost 10 years, which is probably as long as any band should be together." After Elastica's one 1995 hit, "Connection," the band was never heard of again.

Slim, ’N Sync win big at MTV Video Music Awards

HOLLYWOOD - Electronic artist Fatboy Slim was the big winner at the 18th Annual MTV Video Music Awards with five awards, including Best Direction for the video "Weapon of Choice," featuring actor Christopher Walken dancing in a hotel lobby. Boy band 'N Sync took home four moon-men statuettes for their single "Pop." The group was also responsible for the biggest highlight of the night, when the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, joined 'N Sync onstage after their performance.
