HOLLYWOOD - Eminem wants to start a fire Residents and officials in Highland Park, Mich., protested Eminem's plans to burn down a house during the filming of his untitled movie. About 50 residents protested the fire during an emergency meeting on Tuesday to discuss the issue; however, no final decision was made. Highland Park's emergency financial manager, Ramona Henderson, will have the final say on whether the house will burn, The Detroit Free Press reports. Eminem's movie will be released next summer.

Rolling Stone's frontman Mick Jagger is set to release "God Gave Me Everything," a song he co-wrote and produced with funky rocker Lenny Kravitz. The song is the first single from Jagger's fourth solo album Goddess in the Doorway, scheduled for a Nov. 20 release. Jagger is currently filming the video for the single with director Mark Romanek, who's worked with the likes of Madonna and Michael Jackson).

HOLLYWOOD - Electronic artist Fatboy Slim was the big winner at the 18th Annual MTV Video Music Awards with five awards, including Best Direction for the video "Weapon of Choice," featuring actor Christopher Walken dancing in a hotel lobby. Boy band 'N Sync took home four moon-men statuettes for their single "Pop." The group was also responsible for the biggest highlight of the night, when the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, joined 'N Sync onstage after their performance.
