HOLLYWOOD, CA - "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott fans will not be alone as they pay respect to the legendary guitarist at this year's Ozzfest, being held at the Pizza Hut Park August 9th in Dallas, TX. Whereas last year, Ozzfest attendees could win free tickets in a lottery fashion, 2008 will be a whole new ballgame. In an attempt to scale down production, and perhaps tie-down the festival with the yearly "Ride for Dime" celebration, the festival will take place one day only, where fans will be able to take part in a rock festival, and a tribute celebration at the same time.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- We went over to the Wiltern to see Alice in Chains. We purposedly skipped Hurt cuz that band sucks so much bad I would rather strangle myself than to ever see them perform again. I am not even joking. It was that painful. Alice in Chains came out and that place was moving. I swear, every person with their hands right up in the air singing to every single word...of every freaking song. It was moving. Made the hair on the back of your neck stand.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- Oh my God...talk about feeling like I was back in high school again! Alice in Chains ROCKED! Blew me out of the water! Their set was so full of energy and I was only a few rows away from Jerry...oh dear how amazing were they? I sang my little heart out and remembered listening to their songs way back when I used to wear baby doll dresses and Doc Martens in 10th grade, listening to Dirt like it was the best record that ever existed
