f you’ve ever been to a concert, you probably know that most bands use an AC/DC song as their lead-in music over the loud speakers. What better way to get the crowds’ adrenaline pumping? Metallica does it. Motley Crue does it. Even 311 does it. Since we were at an AC/DC concert, my friend asked me what song I thought they would use. I was puzzled, and then I finally concluded there would be no lead-in music, for AC/DC cannot be topped. And I was right!

AC/DC tour to start in November

HOLLYWOOD, CA -- AC/DC have announced plans for a North American tour in support of their forth coming album 'Black Ice." The tour will be the band's first outing since 2001 and will kick off October 28th in Philadelphia North American dates will run through November to mid-December with additional dates in South America, Europe and Asia to follow in 2009.

Listen Up!: Slayer lawsuit dismissed

HOLLYWOOD - A California Superior Court judge ruled on Monday that neither heavy metal band Slayer nor the music industry can be held liable in the 1995 murder of a 15-year-old girl by three teenage boys, Billboard magazine reports. The ruling stated that there was insufficient proof that the band's music influenced teenagers Jacob Delashmutt, Joseph Fiorella, and Royce Casey to rape and murder Elyse Pahler on July 22. In their defense, the boys claimed that Slayer's lyrics had instructed them to stalk and kill Pahler as "a virgin sacrifice to Satan."
