I still say: “I’ll believe it when I see it!”
Best Buy retailer will be the exclusive store where Guns N’ Roses fans can pick up a copy of the new album Chinese Democracy on Sunday, November 23rd.
This may come as a shock to some, as the typical day for new album releases are Tuesdays. I guess Guns N’ Roses - or Axl Rose in that matter - wants to do things a bit different this time.
According to Billboard, the odd release date is tied to the structure of Best Buy’s sales week, which runs from Sunday to Saturday. As such, “Chinese Democracy” would not be eligible to chart on The Billboard 200 until the week of Dec. 1, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
I wonder if the 10 plus year wait was worth it? I guess we’ll find out!
